Who cares if the customer adds salt? 2001-7-3 (Technology) Larry Niven said that technology changes ethics, which is the situation being forced on content authors today as browsers and other client-side tools - most controversially Microsoft Smart Tags - promise to permamently contaminate the reading experience. What would Ayn Rand have thought about that?

While you can certainly place arbitrary and politically oriented restrictions on your site if you want to, remember that the contempt flows both ways: the reader doesn't have to put up with that crap if she doesn't want to. A preacher doesn't score a victory against Satan by shooting his own congregation.
