from my N to yours, regarding S

I'm creating a simple list of principles to take to heart for dealing with Someone (a person in S mode). Along the lines of Covey's Seven Habits or The Battle Rules of Waiting Tables...

At any point in time:

Someone likes only what they like...
  • and seeks only the externally clearest & most appealing of what's new...
  • and strongly favors what's familiar!
Someone trusts only what they know...
  • and doesn't know what they know...
  • and certainly isn't curious to know what they know!
Someone is not at all enamored of seeing their own mind work...
  • and wouldn't trust new thoughts anyway...
  • and doesn't have a file for later consideration!
Someone just seeks & avoids...
  • and never consciously experiments...
  • and changes course randomly if frustrated!
Someone reacts to every isolated thing...
  • dropping all context...
  • and taking it personally!

------

I want to create a separate list for how we can pull each other out of S mode!!
