When law-enforcement officials responded to a fight south of Price, they found about 80 combatants and spectators who said they were part of a "fight club'' being organized at the College of Eastern Utah. ([info]pjammer, when did you make it out to Utah!?)

Hmm, two Utah-related posts today... are you from Utah? I come from a central Utah farming family (Sanpete County), my mom went to Snow College (in Price). My great-grandfather (along with most of his neighbors) was a polygamist. (Go great-grandfather!)

Neat.

I'm not from Utah, and I have no special connection to the state.

I think I found both of those news links at rotten.com -- which I'd never visited before and to which I somehow got pointed that day.

In lawyer mode, I'm now wondering how the federal government might apply "commerce clause" reasoning to link my activities to Utah. Nevermind!
